Ridge Point High School families can meet teachers, walk through classrooms and get a rundown on programs at the school's open house Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The school described the event as an evening gathering but has not posted a specific start time. Families are encouraged to check the school's website or call (281) 327-5200 for details.

Ridge Point, which serves grades 9–12 and enrolls roughly 2,816 students, is one of Fort Bend ISD's largest high schools. The open house comes as the district prepares for the 2026-27 school year across its 83 campuses serving approximately 79,663 students.

Fresh TEA ratings add context

The timing gives families an extra reason to show up. Fort Bend ISD announced Tuesday, Aug. 18, that 83% of its high schools earned an A or B in the 2026 Texas Education Agency Accountability Ratings. Ridge Point was listed among those campuses, though the district did not specify whether the school received an A or a B individually.

Back-to-school season in full swing

Fort Bend ISD published its 2026-27 Back-to-School Guide in mid-July, covering enrollment information, transportation routes, school supplies and meal programs.

The district is also in the middle of a boundary-adjustment process that could shift students away from nearby Elkins High School, as we reported Aug. 18. That process could affect Ridge Point's feeder patterns.
