Three Fort Bend ISD football players were recognized as Touchdown Club of Houston Preseason Players of the Year at the organization's annual Touchdowner of the Year dinner Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Bayou City Event Center.

Ridge Point linebacker Aaron Williams, Hightower quarterback Carson White and Almeta Crawford High School wide receiver Alvin Mosley III were among 33 players from 24 Houston-area programs selected to the club's 2026 preseason UIL team, the Houston Chronicle reported. Fort Bend ISD Athletics celebrated the trio on X, saying the district was proud to celebrate all three players and their recognition.

The honor lands nine days before the 2026 Texas high school football season opener on Friday, Aug. 28.

Williams anchors a Ridge Point defense that allowed just 12 points per game last season. The Panthers return eight defensive starters and enter the year ranked No. 15 in the Class 6A state preseason poll. Ridge Point also owns the longest active district winning streak in the Houston area at 44 games, a run dating to 2019. Williams is the nephew of former University of Texas and Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson.

White carries a 36-5 record as Hightower's starting quarterback, an .878 winning percentage heading into his senior season. That's elite.

Mosley finished third in the Houston area in receiving yards last season with 1,138 and tied for second with 20 receiving touchdowns. The four-star Ole Miss commit and reigning district MVP in both football and basketball totaled more than 1,700 all-purpose yards and 30 combined touchdowns in 2025, according to VYPE. Crawford is moving up to the 5A ranks in 2026 after going 12-2 and reaching the Region III Final in 4A Division I.

All three players open the season Friday, Aug. 28.
