Stafford families can trick-or-treat among patrol cars and fire trucks on Saturday, Oct. 24, when three local organizations team up for a free Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat.
Stafford Municipal School District (SMSD), the Stafford Police Department and the Stafford Police Officers Association are co-hosting the event from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Stafford Administration Building parking lot, 1633 Staffordshire Rd. Costumes are encouraged.
According to a City of Stafford announcement, the evening will feature a trunk-or-treat, music, candy, patrol cars and fire trucks. Fire trucks are listed among the attractions, though the Stafford Fire Department is not named as a formal co-host in either announcement.
SMSD posted on Instagram on Oct. 2 that the festival will also include literacy activities, family learning stations and community resource tables. The district described the night as a chance for families to connect with schools, community partners and neighbors.
Admission is free. No registration is required.
