Missouri City's Tricks & Treats in the Park returns to Buffalo Run Park on Saturday, Oct. 17, with free admission and activities for all ages.

The Parks and Recreation Department is organizing the Halloween celebration, which runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at 1122 Buffalo Run Park. The city's event page lists candy, games, a pumpkin patch and a photo station among the offerings.

The city added more details in a Sept. 28 Instagram post, describing the event as "Missouri City's community favorite." That post expanded the activity list to include music, food trucks and a petting zoo alongside the trick-or-treating.

The event is open to all ages. No ticket or registration is required for attendees.

Tricks & Treats in the Park has drawn crowds to Buffalo Run Park for years. A 2017 community account noted hundreds of Missouri City residents attended that year's edition.

Vendors and sponsors who want to participate can find registration links on the city's event page at missouricitytx.gov.
