Missouri City residents can turn a meal into a Make-A-Wish donation on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

The Raising Cane's at 3833 FM 1092 Rd. is participating in a regional fundraiser, donating 15% of proceeds to Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. Customers who mention the fundraiser at checkout between 3 and 9 p.m. will have a portion of their purchase directed to the nonprofit, Style Magazine reported. Online and app orders qualify with the code RCFUND96.

The fundraiser is tied to the wish of a child named Hudson, whose dream is to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Raising Cane's is sponsoring Hudson's trip. On Tuesday, Sept. 15, Hudson and his family received a wish reveal at the Raising Cane's in League City, where he learned the trip was happening.

No additional details about Hudson, including his age or medical condition, have been made public.

The chain donated $10,000 to the Make-A-Wish chapter in 2025, Style Magazine reported. This marks the fifth consecutive year Raising Cane's has partnered with the organization, according to Yahoo News.

Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana announced the fundraiser on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 15, listing participating locations across Texas and Louisiana. The chapter has granted more than 12,500 wishes to children since 1984.

During fiscal year 2025, the chapter granted 650 wishes. That was a record.
