Missouri City residents got their first look at Quail Valley Golf Club's renovated restaurant, bar and event spaces on Friday, Aug. 28.
The club, at 2880 La Quinta Dr., hosted a sneak peek event from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests toured the upgraded facilities, sampled appetizers and took advantage of drink specials, according to a City of Missouri City post on X. No dinner service was offered.
The city described the evening as a celebration of the club's upgraded facilities and said community was at the heart of the event.
The sneak peek capped a renovation project on the club's La Quinta golf course that began in December 2024. The work targeted drainage improvements, better playability and preservation of the greens, according to updates on the Quail Valley Golf Club website.
A February 2026 progress update from the city said crews were restoring the course's lakes to their proper levels, constructing a new pavilion, and building a new putting green and practice facility. New bathroom installations were also underway at that time.
The city published a photo album on Flickr documenting the Aug. 28 event. The album was updated Saturday, Aug. 29.
A formal ribbon cutting for the renovated restaurant and bar is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25. Missouri City's 2026 State of the City event, themed "70 Years of Progress, Purpose & Possibility," will also take place at Quail Valley Golf Club on Sept. 25, with a social hour starting at 5 p.m.
Details on both events are available through the City of Missouri City's social media pages.
